In an effort to get into China Sjaak rode with Jim and Doris through the outback from Mongolia to an illegal border crossing.

– China – 2 Up

Sonia, Sjaak's girlfriend at the time, travels in China along some thousands of miles/kilometres on the top box.

– China – Cracked Frame

In China, the mounting of the rear shock absorber broke out of the frame. After contacting the friendly motorcycle club in Kunming, they arranged for the local police to take Sjaak to the train station. Once hundreds of kilometres further in Kunming, the club members solved the problem there. On behalf of Sjaak; thanks!

– Thailand – Race Track Bira

Sjaak was a guest during a track day near Pattaya in Thailand, organised by Highside Tours. He had fun!!

- Nepal – Embroidery

At Baba embroidery in Kathmandu Sjaak had his logo embroidered on merchandise. He shipped it to the Netherlands to sell on his web shop and during shows, events and presentations.
