My rear brake pads are touching bare metal so need to be changed on the road side. A good opportunity for Nathalie to learn working on the R1. While she is doing so, other bike travellers show up. One from the north and one from the south. Days in a row you see nobody and within a few minutes time you meet two. How odd.

When stopping for a short break we get invited to visit an ecological farm. First, we get a meal. Then a tour where we see how the cows get a shower to cool down and how milk gets processed into dairy products. With litres of that as a gift we say goodbye. Friendliness and helpful everywhere. Just like during my previous travels in Russia. There is a reason that this is my favourite travel country.
